Discipline :

Any of the following acts by a student shall be considered as an offence against discipline and proper action will be taken.
 
1. Habitual unpunctuality.
2. Various forms of immoral and indecent acts.
3. Resorting to violence of any kind.
4. Dis-obedience to college authority and teachers.
5. Damaging, defacing or devaluing any college property.
6. Act against public sanitation or any act calculated to cause public nuisance, disturbance of public tranquility, communal troubles or breach of public peace.
7. Holding of meeting in the college or hostel premises or college playground without permission or against order of the principal.
8. Loitering in college campus or in the college verandah.
9. Use of unfair means in college examinations.
10. Must not indulge in ragging which is punishable.
11. Must come with proper uniform and identity card.
 
Rules Relating to the Stands / Shed to be Used :
 
1. All students have to enter the college through the main gate of the college.
2. Students and outsiders coming by two wheelers will have to keep their vehicles in stand N0.1.
3. All Arts boys students must keep their bi-cycles in stand No.2.
4. All Arts girls students will keep their bi-cycles in stand No.3.
5. All teachers and outsiders coming by four wheelers will have to negotiate their vehicles in stand No.4. in proper order.
6. Al; teachers and employees coming by two wheelers will have to negotiate their in stand No.5.
7. All teachers and employees coming by bi-cycles will have to keep their bi-cycles in stand No.6.
8. All Science boys' students are asked to keep their bi-cycles in stand No.7-A and the girls will keep in stand No.7-B.
 
 
Library Rules :
 
Every student is expected to avail library for their academic and personality development. They should observe the following rules -
 
1. Students shall not make any noise or talk to each other while in the reading room.
2. Students should carefully examine the book issued to them before leaving the library counter. If any damage or multilation in book issued to him/her is noticed, it should be reported to the Librarian before taking delivery of the same. The borrower will be responsible for loss or damage of any book borrowed from the college library.
3. Books must be returned within 15 days of the date of issue. A fine of Rs.0.50 per book per day will be levied if a borrowed book is kept beyond the due date of return.
4. All books etc. borrowed from the library shall have to be returned to the library 7 days before the commencement of the summer vacation.
5. If the library card is lost by any student, it should be reported to the librarian immediately.
6. The authority reserves the right of framing any additional rule as may be necessity from time to time.
 
 
Hostel Rules :
 
The boarders of the hostels must abide by the following hostel rules -
 
1. Every boarder of the hostel shall have to observe the timing of breakfast, meals, tiffin, study hours and evening roll calls circulated by the superintendent of the hostel.
2. During study hours no boarder should remain outside without prior permission from the superintendent.
3. Drinking of alcohol or use of drugs shall be considered as a major offence and shall be dealt severely.
4. Leave of absence from the hostel must be obtained in advance from the superintendent. If a boarder remains absence from the hostel without permission from the superintendent, it will be considered a major offence.
5. No outsider should be allowed during the study hours or college hours and no guest should be entertained without prior permission from the superintendent.
6. No boarder shall quit the hostel without the written permission which may be granted only on payment of the outstanding arrear against him.
7. A boarder applying for transfer from the college must produce a certificate from the superintendent satisfying his/her good conduct and the payment of all outstanding dues. A boarder asking for a college certificate must have recommendation of the superintendent of the hostel for his/her good conduct, otherwise, no certificate will issue to him/her.
8. Expulsion from the hostel implies expulsion from the college and vice versa.
9. College hostel shall remain closed during the summer vacation and Puja vacation and no boarder shall be allowed to reside in the hostel in any private capacity without permission from the principal.
10. The mess dues must be paid by the boarders within 15 days of each month or within such a date as may be notified by the hostel superintendent. Non-payment of hostel dues in time should be a sufficient reason for stopping meals.
11. The superintendent will remain a conduct register. The boarders are liable to be punished and their names will be reported by the superintendent to the principal for appropriate action.
